After the emotional ride and the deep personal triumph of her single "October" in 2010, Callie Moore retreated back into that deep and endless cave of memories to create a new song for the same purpose - to comfort and unify people who have experienced loss. Having lost her mother to Cancer at the tender age of 8 years old, Callie has always found profound comfort and meaning in the songs of artists who sing about real life, its heartaches and joys.

The release of "October" was Callie's first experience telling her listeners the story of her childhood from an extremely personal perspective. Having received the overwhelming support of listeners who both offered and found comfort from the song, Callie was able to approach "Electric Stars and Satellites" with a renewed sense of peace. The result was a song that combined the expected sadness of loss with a delightfully dreamy and melodic mood that gently touches a distant joy.

"Electric Stars and Satellites" is a manifestation of the ever-growing musical harmony between Callie and her husband David Moore. Everything Callie has released following her debut "Zen Garden" has been written and produced entirely in her home studio with Dave as her sound engineer, co-creator, and co-producer. Each new creation is a process that brings the musical styles and backgrounds of both musicians to a deeper level of unity and comfort with one another.
Callie's bass line pulses gently at the frequency of a dream. Her glassy, sparkling electric guitar tones make way for the energetic over-driven emotion of Dave's lead guitar and drums. Callie's lyrics strike a careful balance between melancholic contemplation and child-like imagination.
