7 Days is a collaboration of two people who met by chance and created a blend of jazz and funk.

Calvin Washington's love of music started at age of five. The very first instrument he ever played was an acoustic guitar purchased by his mother, Rozena Jamison. As he grew older, his focus turned to writng and producing. He has worked with Rashard Muhammad of Extra Large Productions in East Orange, NJ and collaborated with such well known artist as, Ronald Bell of Kool and The Gang and Wyclef of The Fugees.

Calvin fulfilled his dream of starting his own production company, Classical Production in 1999 in South Orange, NJ and has produced music for websites, plays and local artists in Charlotte, NC.

Calvin is very thankful for the people he has met along this music journey and the support and encouragement he receives from his wife Kimberly, who's family is in the music business. Roger Humphries a well-known drummer from Pittsburgh, PA and jazz legends Frank, Hildred and Teddy Humphries.

Calvin puts his heart and soul into every song he produces. Music is his life and 7 Days is only the beginning. Calvin has so much more to give to the world of smooth jazz.
