Atlanta, GA (December 1st, 2002) - Stonesilk Records is proud to announce the release of Jazz Colours, the exciting first solo release from new artist Bill Campbell. Brimming with smooth grooves and rich rhythms, Jazz Colours is an eclectic collage of melodious riffs and broad musical appeal. The Man
Bill Campbell is a product of the late Billy G. Densmore's Northside High School of the Arts, and he graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts. After college he signed as a writer with the publishing arm of Motown Records (Jobete Publishing), and in fact once recorded a vocal version of "Sweetness N' Lite" as part of their catalog. Bill can also be heard on Dezz's song "Atlanta Vibe", which peeked at #2 on the Broadjam.com's Jazz charts. Bill's song "Invocation" was #1 on Broadjam's Jazz chart!
The Music
Bill plays every instrument heard on Jazz Colours, and all the tracks were mixed, produced, and engineered entirely at Bill's Stonesilk Studio. The cut entitled "Nigel's Groove" is dedicated to Bill's son Nigel and earned its name when he walked into the studio and began dancing during tracking of the main rhythm arrangement. Jazz Colours represents a new level of musical accomplishment for Bill, and he is eager to share the fruits of his labor with all manner of music fans.

Electrifying and Mystic Sound, Great Guitar Rhythms
author: N.A. Benson
I found this to be a most enjoyable listening experience through this artist. His smooth guitar style, keyboards and funky rhythms had me wanting to hear more. My favorite tune off the CD is "Stick-E". Reminded me of a Paul Hardcastle style rhythm and George Benson Cross over, very unique in it's own way. Looking forward to hearing more from this outstanding artist.
