Album Notes

Some have compared this band to Fleet Foxes, Anathallo and even Wolf Parade. This band draws it's core sound from the indie world but does not hide its folky influences. The lineup consists of the following: Hannigan-banjo, brass. Dagworth-Drums, Van Der Speck-Bass, Vocals. Goodweather-Piano, Vocals. Exworthy-Keys, Vocals. The musicianship in this ensemble is impressive. Each member in their own right could front their own band. Together, they form a musical force with endless possibilities. This is their debut album and hopefully only one of many albums to come.

Play this music at your next party or when you're at home in need of a solitary moment. This music will fill the room and add to the mood in almost any situation. The title track Strange Like We Are explores the bands deep ties it's folky roots while at the same time maintaining it's indie pop sound. It is an exciting dynamic track that truly defines the strength of this Seattle based band.

"Campfire Ok’s soft indie rock has decidedly folk and Americana influences with beautiful male-female vocal harmonies wafting over piano arpeggios, accented by dark rhodes electric piano undertones. "
