RED SOLID LINE - Canaan is a veritable creative caldron. The blend of the voices is only matched by the blend of their passions. One of the members went to be tested for HIV and while waiting for the results he was struck by not only the tension of the wait, but also at the thought of the millions who had waited for their results before him. He and through him, Canaan was inspired by the strength of the millions who have gone through the testing process, not to mention, weathered the ravages of AIDS. The song, RED SOLID LINE was born of that inspiration; sparked by the ominous red solid line that appears on a "positive" test strip.

The song and the CD are dedicated to all those living and thriving with HIV/AIDS. The message of the song is meant to encourage all those at risk to "Take the Test & Take Control" as part of an overall prevention program. "After all, it is a matter of PRIDE."
