Album Notes

On "PLUCK", CanBe takes us on a tour of the places he's been since we last heard from him on The Sun's 1997 release "19-sixty-97". From his outpost in the jungles of Mexico, CanBe synthesizes the sounds of the locales that made all the difference: Tom Jobim's swinging 'new thing' in early '60's Rio de Janeiro; Brian Wilson's LA circa 1966; London, from the Zombies to Bowie to Captain Sensible; and his very own Southern California of the early 1980's.
