You know you want it! This girl-fronted band rocks hard and thrills club and festival audiences alike. Heavy pop, glam and punk rock; CFS creates infectious, edgy tunes; a sound that can best be described as Sleater-Kinney making out with Led Zeppelin in a dark corner of a dive bar.
Candy From Strangers has been tearing up rock venues across the country since 1999 and amassing a loyal following on both coasts. Based in San Francisco, the band has recently been gaining momentum by touring and playing showcases, street fairs and clubs, including Warped Tour and International Pop Overthrow. They have over 700 fans on their local email list, 1000 friends on Myspace, radio play on west coast college radio and internet radio stations and increasing sales on CD baby and other digital outlets. CFS's live shows and material is at last capturing that elusive buzz, and proving themselves to be a band of style and substance.
