Canto I - \"While You Were Sleeping\"
Canto I gives Hip-Hop a wake-up call with their brand new, full-length sophomore release entitled \"While You Were Sleeping\". Their thematic approach gives listeners an in-depth examination of the state of the music industry, life industry, and future industry. \"While You Were Sleeping\" resurrects smooth, syllable flows, creative, speaker-tearing beats, and most importantly independent ideology. With production by Marco Polo on \"Think They Know\" and \"I Do Still Love H.E.R.\", guest features from Tree Woodz, Has-Lo, and Lacy Redhead, this album is sure to bring the \"old-school hip-hopper\" to reminisce over times when music was a part of everyday life.

The way these two flow back & forth with each other is a thing of beauty. There is no ackward pauses & they never go over each other. The old-school style is something that has been missing for some time now. Great job guys!

The Renaissance of hip hop
author: Pistol Pete
This band has created a truely brilliant album. It's not often that a hip hop album takes you on a genre infusing journey. Coming from a true fan of music, who appreciates the art of creating an album, not a jumble of quickly assembled songs with a few, 'singles' interspersed throughout. This band has done just that, brought hip hop into the I-pods of music fans who would normally be reviewing an album by arcade fire or spoon. Thanks for turning me on to this album, cd baby!
