notes
Michael Capezzone is a familiar name around the acoustic and electric music scene in New England, especially along the coastline, where he's collected an ever-growing legion of fans over the years. Capezzone's debut CD features thirteen original songs showcasing his powerful vocal and instrumental guitar talents.
His music is often compared by many to artists like John Prine, John Hyatt, Delbert McClinton, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and J.J. Cale to name a few. Capezzone's songs tell stories that everyone identifies with. His music engages listeners right from the first note, holds them all night, and sends them on their way with his tunes in their heads and their in hearts...(and in their hands - CDBABY RULES!)

This CD is one of the best I've ever had the privilage of owning. The more I play it, the more I appreciate the beauty of Michael's music. The passion in his guitar playing is only surpassed by the passion in his voice.
Threads of Manassas, Douden's, and the Marina
author: AeolusInteresting to hear the development of this artist, over the years from the early days of Doug, Bim, Sparky, Tim, et al. I hear bits of Stills, Buffalo Springfield, Seals and Crofts (Paper Airplanes?), filtered through Mulberry Pt. Rd, and Sachems Head. Nice to see and hear the river still rolls, amigo!

author: Laurence CapezzoneTheresnot enough time in the day to explain how much i love them . I know the man , I can feel his pain more and more each day.I also can feel his happiness when he makes music like this I pray he will always continue to do so.I will wait patiently for the next one.Dylan could not have done better.I can find more and more in the lyrics each day.Its great poetry,a true love story.

Awesome, donkey-kickin', comfortable-like a favorite old pair of jeans.
author: Bobo LavorgnaThe songs on inspirations of the heart run the gamut of emotions; joy, despair, hope, renewal, passion, tenderness...and then there is the guitar and bass and vocal work by Mike Capezzone. If you like blues, folk, funk, rock 'n roll, country and donkey-kickin' guitars, then buy this CD! You just gotta!
