The Cap Gun Cowboys are an unlikely group of country misfits, stampin' their brand on beer-soaked ditties that range from traditional honky tonk to real rockin' rockabilly, creating a chunky, stick-to-the-ribs stew of alt.country (whatever that is).

They are a four-piece band based out of Cleveland, Ohio and feature Greg Yanito on vocals, guitars, and the occasional accordion; Phil Verhoef on vocals, guitars, trombone, and the occasional yodel; Mark Loncarevic on electric bass, beer, and occasional extraneous comments; and Todd Nelson (formerly of Ace and the Ragers!) on drums, percussion and the not-so-occasional cigarette.
