The Capitalist Hippie Complex is a slamming 10-piece original band combining funk, jazz, hip hop, spoken word, and rock into by far one of the most original sounds today. The CHC's unique approach to merging genres and streams of consciousness has generated attention from nationally distributed Skope Magazine and earned them a Colorado Music Summit appearance with two-time Grammy Award winners Arrested Development.

In January of 2007, Joey Flores teamed up with composer and producer, Yotam Rosenbaum, in an attempt to create music without compromise. They assembled a team of L.A.'s finest musicians - artists who have had played with legends from Arethra Franklin and Stevie Wonder to Hootie and the Blowfish and Tupac Shakur. Solidifying the scorching 10-piece band, complete with vibraphone and a three-piece horn section, The Capitalist Hippie Complex was born.
