Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew is the hip hop sideproject of Captain Dan, his first mate Sea Dawg , and beats made by Azis. The album covers all of the important aspects of pirate life, from looting to drinking to wenches to rum. Special guests on this album include MC Treasure, Scott Free, and cabin boy Phil.

I'll admit that I'm not a huge fan of hip hop, but this album really drew me in. They use really catchy beats with some very funny lyrics that made me want to hear more. This is a very good album.

This is some great rap unlike most of the drivel out there - it has a tune, the words rhyme, and they're thematic and funny.  If you like pirates, it's even better!  Check out their 2nd CD too.
