Album Notes

YARRRR!! This be the epic 3rd album from notorious hip-hop buccaneers Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew. "From the Seas to the Streets" pushes their sound to new limits, as heavy orchestral gangster beats meet authentic rhymes from the high seas.

The subject matter of this album includes(but is not limited to) being a drunken sailor, theft, digging for gold, appreciation for the female form, and attacking Santa Claus.

Be sure to check out the other Nonexistent Recordings artists, Stabilizer and Echo Slightly(links on the left of this page). This and all of our albums are available in various online distributors, including the iTunes music store.

Come to Wellington New Zealand, Captain Dan. I'd join your scurvy crew. I love this album! It is the first one of their albums I bought, after listening to all the samples from all three albums available on cd baby at the moment and I now want the 2nd one too. Totally awesome, funny and well done.

Captain Dan hits the mark
author: Josh Dryer
I recently purchased this album and I love it. It has all of the things I loved about their last albums, but it hasn't stuck with me the way the last 2 have. I think this is one of those albums that has to grow on you for a while where the first 2 were instant hits. If you are new to Cap'n D, then I suggest trying one of the previous albums first. Fans of the old tapes should buy this immediately.

Not one bad track
author: Stephen Grice
Took a chance buying this CD after hearing one of Cap'n and the crews songs on internet radio and I couldn't hbe happier with what I got. Every track is fantastic and I will certainly be purchasing all of their CD's. Also, CD Baby did an excellent job in packaging this item and getting it to me quickly (I am in the UK).
