Album Notes
YARRRR!! This be the epic 3rd album from notorious hip-hop buccaneers Captain Dan & the Scurvy Crew. "From the Seas to the Streets" pushes their sound to new limits, as heavy orchestral gangster beats meet authentic rhymes from the high seas.

The subject matter of this album includes(but is not limited to) being a drunken sailor, theft, digging for gold, appreciation for the female form, and attacking Santa Claus.

Be sure to check out the other Nonexistent Recordings artists, Stabilizer and Echo Slightly(links on the left of this page). This and all of our albums are available in various online distributors, including the iTunes music store.

From the Seas to My CD Collection!
I completely agree with Aypok's review. Some of the tracks are awesome right off the bat, and the rest grow on you. Recommended!

Snorri Einarsson

mixed sack of pirate rap
Although many of the tracks didn't really "click" with me, there were a few highpoints nonetheless, especially Ship 2 Ship which has an extremely catchy beat, and Ladies in Scarlet which changes things up a bit with some amazing female vocals for a change:)

Michael Lindsey

Cpt. Dan rocks
Once again they make a great pirate hip-hop CD. YAaar! Good stuff mates, keep 'em comin.

Need more
Outstanding work, now we need a 4th album. It only took me seconds to buy all 3 albums you have and they rule the high seas of my ipod.

Guaranteed to Kick Your Ass
By far their best album yet. Check it out and all their other groups (especially Stabilizer)

They're Back!
Those scurvy sea-dogs have done it again! It took me a few listens for it to sink in (the first two albums sunk in straight away) - but, after that, it hit like a cannon-ball. There are one or two tracks that could do with some work, but they're by no means bad.

If you liked their first two albums, this will not disappoint. Trade some of your pieces of eight for this booty; you won't regret it!

Captain Dan hits the mark
I recently purchased this album and I love it. It has all of the things I loved about their last albums, but it hasn't stuck with me the way the last 2 have. I think this is one of those albums that has to grow on you for a while where the first 2 were instant hits. If you are new to Cap'n D, then I suggest trying one of the previous albums first. Fans of the old tapes should buy this immediately.

Mitchell Schrock

Best album yet!
Captain Dan and the Scurvy Crew have really improved their skills, and their latest album shows it. The beats are heavier, the rhymes are better, and British royal navy makes more than a few appearances in this album, which contrasts nicely with Captain Dan and his crew. Don't miss this album!

Continued awesome
Captain D & The Crew have delivered another awesome album.
