Album Notes

Reviews

Released in March, 2005, this concept album is dedicated to all those brave souls who put their patience and ego on the line trying to challenge themselves and the natural elements. "Tee It High and Let It Fly" is a CD about feeling good. Every song says something about the game of golf with all its frustrations and victories. Captain Harry's Floribbean blend of rock, country and blues is an ideal framework for understanding the average golfer's quest to challenge himself and the elements. The Captain says "Golf is like music." "After all the lessons, analysis, practicing and tinkering it all has to become one single thought to get it done." This CD is a laugh a minute and a lot of fun.

Bio

Harry Henry Hann is a singer-guitarist-songwriter hailing from South Florida who has recorded and toured with hundreds of artists all over the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean. With deep roots in rhythm and blues, his music is a rich blend of rock, soul, jazz, and reggae. Growing up in Miami, Captain Harry was naturally exposed to the Caribbean-style life and developed a deep love for its music and people. He is a major exponent of a new Key West style (similar to Jimmy Buffet's genre) known as "Floribbean."

His career began in the late Sixties with the legendary rhythm and blues showman Wayne Cochran and his C.C. Riders. Harry's soulful roots sprouted during the Seventies while working in the studio and performing with such great artists as Ben E. King, The Drifters, Jackie Wilson, The Temptations and many others.
