A love of music and performing is like an addiction. To feed your habit you eventually resort to doing almost anything. In the beginning, there are high goals in the garage or basement; no covers, no compromise. Save up for months or years to get to the studio.
Take the table scraps of a 4 pm drive to set up and
open or play all night for $100/band- get home 4 am. Practice, practice, practice.
Mix in some covers because Joe F Public rarely can
make up his own mind on the merits of music. He receives
his musical opinion based on the I.V. served from the radio station with an 8 song heavy rotation dictated by
(we don't know?).
In the end to feed the habit and be able to rationalize the time and effort required, some will resort to performing only others music because PERFORMING is the
narcotic.
Thanks CD Baby for being a light in a sea of darkness.
This CD is a step in the evolution of an artist. Enjoy!
