Carey Norby sadly died in 2005 after battling cancer. She was a beautiful, multi-talented artist who was a choreographer/dancer, singer, song writer, artist, and book illustrator. This is the only CD she completed. It is a testament to her ability to harmonize. A collection of love songs and one song written for children (Dreams) that touches the heart. A combination of acoustic and jazzy/pop songs with hints of strings and wonderful vocals, this CD is unique in it's sound and memorable in it's content. Quality musicians, professional recording and mixing, and accomplished song writing are all brought together by Carey's touching and sensitive vocals. We may not be able to hear her sing again but what she has left us is a glimpse of the peace loving, intelligent, couageous, gifted and wonderful soul she was.
