Album Notes

"SoulMates" is the original soundtrack for the movie, "SoulMates". Carl and Vivian Adams wrote, filmed, directed, edited and produced the movie, which recently won Audience Choice for Best Film at the Bare Bones Script-2-Screen Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma. "SoulMates" the album also won Best Movie Soundtrack. The soundtrack provides a variety of music for different listening preferences. From rhythm and blues to rap to religious to smooth jazz, "SoulMates" has something for everyone.

Like the movie, "SoulMates" the album is a family affair -- all songs were written by either Carl, Vivian or their daughter, Letoia. Most of the songs were sung by Carl, who has been writing and singing songs since he was a teenager. Letoia sang one song with guest artist Jason McCrary ("R You Ready for Me World"). McCrary also sang "SoulMate.Wed". Guest artist Brittany Benson sang a duet with Carl ("Marrying You"), along with "Backed Me into a Corner" as a soloist.
