Carl Franzen's song, On the Road, was recorded by John Denver (Back Home Again) and Michael Johnson (There Is A Breeze). His song Ja Wohl was selected by the American Composers Forum to be performed at their 30th Anniversary celebration. He has written music for several commercials, and received a CLIO nomination for his SuperAmerica jingle.

"Welcome to the Liar's Club" and "Who Put Me in a Movie Anyway" are songs that stick with me like two old friends. I find myself singing them as I walk to and from my bus stop and it puts a little life in my step. And "My Only Time" is utterly priceless. My favorite song ever--of all time thus far.
