Album Notes

Carl Glover is a veteran singer songwriter multi-instrumentalist. He has shared the stage with Rev. Right Time & the 1st Cousins of Funk, Dr. Ross the Harmonica Boss, Jerry Lee Lewis, Cheech and Chong, Badfinger, SRC, and many others. He plays guitars, keyboards, saxophone, harmonica, mandolin, and percussion. He has played a myriad of concerts and honky tonks throughout the USA. Based out of Flint Michigan, Carl has played solo and with many local bands.His favorite creative endeavor is songwriting.Currently with the band"Scruffy Dog."


This is called the "Mustang Sessions, " because all of the songs were recorded at Pat Beeney's Mustang studio while we were playing in our band called the "Mustang's."
There was also Curtis Johnson (formerly of Terry Knight and the Pack) and Michael Sevic who also assisted with arrangements, mixes and recording vibes. Here is a breakdown on some of the songs:

4. Walk On: A touch of Latin with hope for all mankind.
5. First Time Forever: Now there's a special feeling.
6. If There's A Way: A tribute to Rockabilly Love and Chuck Berry.
7. Marianne: Oh my fragile heart. A classic twist of fate.
8. Sweet Mystery: I don't know why, it feels like a mystery.
9. Love Can't Turn Back: No holding back the Horsepower with the Accelerator of Love.
10. Real Fine Love: Gospel like tribute to love. Amen.
11. Look My Way: Hoping for the good, good look.
12. Gone: Ah! The romance of the open road.
13. To Believe: Tough times and heartbeat kid.
14. Queen of the Blues: You can try to deny it.
15. All I Need: For this night at least.Nyuk! Nyuk!
16. Lil' More Loving: Why not?
17. Heartbreaker: I used to fall for you too, too often.
18. Look My Way: Sort of a bonus track with production from Joe Cuningham.
