Top Caribbean Gospel Male Singer at the 2005 Caribbean Gospel Music Awards ceremony staged in Brooklyn, NY on June 4, 2005,

His Hit Song SOAR also was nominated for five awards at the Marlin Awards staged in Nassau Bahamas 2005,

On September 2006, Carlington receive an award for best overseas singer of the year at the Maja Awards ceremony staged in Kingston Jamaica at the Hilton Hotel.

To his life God has given direction, and to his gift God has given purpose, his son Giovanni L’J Roberts.
