The project was born in the spring of 2003 from the polyhedric personality of Carlo Porrà who, after studying jazz and blues guitar and piano, lyric singing and computer music for years; and after exploring the darkest meanders of the electronic music and the improvisation, decides to put his experience and passion to fruit with a rather original project. The ambitious idea is to open a new road in Pop music melting musical influences which go from Jazz To Blues, from the 80’s electronic music to new tendencies of techno pop and electronic improvisation, from progressive to psychedelic rock, up to arrive to Classical Pop songwriting.
The meeting with Mario Massa and his impro-contemporary music festival \"KONTAKTE\", further increases the musical horizons. His hypnotic and sinuous trumpet, with \"Davis-like\" references and the clearly North-European mark, confers consistency and thickness where the music more need it.
Maurizio Marzo with his \"velvety\" and \"technological\" guitar is the right complement of the project, with his \"aerial\" and \"corrosive\" sonorities. His experience and academic preparation reveal, soon, themselves an important contribution for the project. The first album \"Sto correndo\", gone out for the Videoradio of Milan ( and advertised on the italian magazines: JAM, CHITARRE and ROCKERILLA), is the first true test desk. 15 passages between explosive sonorities and \"cathartic\" moments, between jazz, electronica and pop song.
After \"Sto correndo\" here is \"Electric sky music\" an almost instrumental work: trumpet, piano, guitars, vocals and electronics in a acid-lounge dark crossover with addition of psychedelia, noise and a bit of jazz... as a risult of a long studio experimentation.
