Long time Boston based musicians Mark Carlsen and Jon Wheatley collaborate on a project that celebrates their 50th birthdays.
A wide variety of obscure, lovely compositions are preformed in a Guitar-Bass format with a new twist to many of these pieces. They are joined by Jeff Stout, Arnie Krakowsky, and Gary Johnson to make a swinging Blue Note style Quintet.
Nice arrangements and tasteful solos give this CD something everyone will enjoy.
