Album Notes
Carl West is a bass player and song writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California and in Denver, Colorado. With the help of friends and fellow musicians Amber Hutchings (vocals), Kent Lehman (guitar, vocals), and Kevin Lehman (drums, percussion), the debut release of "All Over The Map" came together in the first half of 2011. The songs were initially written by Carl with Amber co-writing the lyrics for "Edge of Life" and Kent co-writing the lyrics for "Fear of it All".

The title "All Over The Map" describes the wide diversity in the style of songs found on the album. Such influences as Rush, Muse, The Rippingtons, U2, and Moby can be heard through out the tracks. Roughly half of the songs on the album are instrumental while the remaining songs have lyrics. The album is a smorgasbord of music from the rock songs of "Menace" and "Warning Signs" to the classically orchestrated "The Storm" to the quirky "Controlling the Chaos", there is something here for everyone.
