Album Notes

After a productive year of writing, traveling, and experiencing more of the world; Carly and a few great friends went into the studio to record her much anticipated sophomore album. It’s been quite the journey, a lot of time in between, but it will be well worth the wait! From playing at the Lizard Lounge in Paris, France, to sharing the stage with Jarod Parlee for a “homecoming show” in London, Ontario, Carly is finally back in Vancouver - making sure that her new collection of songs gets heard.

Working alongside producer Dustin Yates, Carly has worked with some amazing musicians and created what is now “Up This High”. With the strong belief that music should be created by people who share a passion for creativity, and understand the journey that these songs have taken, Carly has done just that. Working with longtime friends Matthew Burditt (piano, photography, art design), Angie Dunnigan (Bass Guitar), David Picking (Drums - and newest addition to the project!) and cousin Melissa McCready (guitar), she has put together a CD that carries weight and integrity.
