Godwin Carmona is a talented singer/songwriter. His debut work "You Save Me," is a moving tribute to the victims and the heroes of the September 11 tragedy.

" This song came to me as I thought of those victims of September 11th who in their last moments, called their loved ones to say good-bye and express their love. One man in particular - who left the following message for his wife on their answering machine - will always linger in my head: 'Please be happy. Please live your life. That's an order.'

I wanted to share this song because I hope it might be, in some way, a source of solace to many in these difficult times. Right now, I believe we all need to support and comfort each other as best as we can, and this is the best way I can. The song is called You Save Me, and it is dedicated to all those lost in the September 11th attack and their loved ones."

This new CD single not only gives homage to the 9/11 victims and their families but is an anthem celebrating the power of unconditional love. It sings praise to the gift of love which heals the heart and prepares us for our passing without fear.

"You Save Me" was produced by Tom and Yvonne Schuman for JazzBridge Music. It contains three versions of the emotion-filled song: 1. Pop/World Version; 2. Smooth Jazz Version; and, 3. Folk Version. We decided to release three versions in order to reach as many people as possible with the healing power of this music.
