Album Notes

CAROLE CHAMPAGNE
SINGER/SONGWRITER/SURVIVOR

Songs about strong women taking on the world and winning while facing tough odds -- songs about women who take their man with a grain of salt...and all of them sung with a voice like honey.

With just the right mix of modern and traditional country sounds as well as heartfelt emotion and a wink of humor, Carole Champagne is an important songwriter, singer and an artist with something to say...in two languages. Growing up in a small northern Ontario town of Kapuskasing, she is a strong woman who faced her own tough odds, Carole is a cancer survivor whose drive and fierce determination led her to Nashville, Tennessee to further develop her career. This opened doors for her to co-write with #1 hit songwriter, Don Goodman, whose many famous works include "Angels Among Us" by Alabama, "Ring On Her Finger, Time on Her Hands" by Reba McEntire and most recently "Ol' Red" by Blake Shelton.

With some of Nashville's top musicians and top producers (Dolly Parton producer, Kent Wells, for example), she has recorded a phenomenal new independent release entitled "Forever With Me", including duets with rising star Christopher Wayne Morris and a special surprise by Dolly Parton herself, sharing giggles with Carole and the listener on the first single from the release, "I Might Be Blonde But I Ain’t Blind”.

It's a follow-up to “One Woman”, an album Carole recorded to honor the strength and beauty of a woman's spirit. She's received numerous letters, e-mails and phone calls from women all over the world, expressing how her songs had inspired and helped them through difficult times.

"Country Music News" magazine recently featured Carole as an upcoming rising star.

Carole has also just released her first French album entitled "Femme", recorded in Nashville and co-written with French country star Steve Ross.

In English or French, Carole is a woman on a mission. Give a listen, and enroll with one of next women stars of country music.
