Following the Lamb presents music of the Moravians from the Moravian Music Foundation in Winston-Salem, NC. Using the 1800 Tannenberg organ and joined by baroque violinist John Pruett, Carolina Pro Musica continues on the quest of period performance in an exciting an alive style. Carolina Pro Musica was established in 1977 to provide an early music presence for the Charlotte, North Carolina region with a concert series that continues. The ensemble has performed in eastern United States (primarily the southeast), in Europe and in the United Kingdom including Hatchlands (The Cobbe Collection) and the Handel House Museum. The group has received grants from local, state and national organizations and project funding from private and public sources. Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, NC has honored the ensemble with Abbey Artists status since the 2001-2002 academic year. More information is at www.carolinapromusica.org.
