Album Notes

Carol Martini has been a songwriter since age eleven, having given up the violin for the more songwriter friendly acoustic guitar. Having already issued three independent Cds, "The Story So Far", "Piece By Piece", and "Modern Loneliness", this prolific songwriter has recently released a fourth Cd of her original music titled,"The Rose In the Boxcar". A Cd with eighteen of her acoustic songs; this Cd is dedicated to her dad who is the rose in the boxcar.
Carol has been performing throught Southern California since the early 1990s, helping to create the coffeehouse circuit in So CA. She plays weekly in coffeehouses, book and music stores, small clubs ad college venues. Her performances feature acoustic guitar versions of her original songs as well as her warm rapport with audiences. Her extensive repertoire (ranging from the humorous to the not-so-humorous) and wide variety of subject matter ensure that no two performsnces are ever alike.
