Carrie Ashton's dynamic songwriting and energetic performances have long reflected her passion for music. She has been performing professionally for audiences throughout the Northeast Region of the United States for over eleven years. Carrie's music is a blend of pop with the gut-level excitement of modern rock. Carrie performs monthly in a multitude of venues, and has appeared as the opening act for Natalie Merchant, the Go-Go's, and REO Speedwagon.

With the independent release of the solo artist's first recording, "The Rest of My Life", an eleven-song CD, Carrie captured the strong interest of major music entities and a loyal consumer following. "The Rest of My Life" went on to sell over 3,000 copies.

Her latest CD, entitled "Modern Day Gypsy", immediately stands out and beckons you to take notice. With her wide-ranging vocals and the raw emotions of her lyrics, Carrie's dedication to self-improvement and passion for her music is made more than evident.

Carrie says, "With this record I feel like I've got a second chance to make a first impression. The music I'm creating now is so different from what I was doing before; I feel like I've grown a lot lyrically and musically. I am also working with some incredibly talented people; that allows me to add a whole new dimension to my sound. I'm very proud of this record, and I hope people enjoy listening to my music as much as I enjoyed making it!"
