Album Notes

Carroll Glenn was born and raised in Toledo Ohio. Exposed to the Detroit and English rock scene at clubs and halls in the area. Jammed with friends in basements during the cold Mid-Western winters. Discovered acoustic music. Played guitar behind a female singer/ songwriter while still in high school. Wrote his first few songs around then. After high school,moved to Sonoma County CA. Studied music and theater at Sonoma State U. B.A. in Music. Played guitar and sang in cafés, clubs, and wedding bands. Also arranged songs and music for performance. Commissioned for music and performance for Company of Wayward Saints (Commedia dell` Arte) for the Mill Valley Players. Moved to San Francisco. Provided musical support for the Bolongna Brothers `Big Fall Show` (more Commedia). Wrote and performed soundtrack for `Roy`, a play about the demise of Roy Cohn, at the Theater Rhinoseros. All along has been writing and performing solo, at cafés, clubs, and open mics around S.F. and New York. Played, worked, and recorded with members of Captain Beefheart, Don Cherry Band, the Red House Painters. Wrote songs and demo-ed in San Francisco and Los Angeles. More recently played guitar for funk/jazz/rap band Tiger Bomb at clubs and parties around S.F. and put out a well received cd. Songs From the cd were used for MTV`s Real World and indie movie North Beach. ------------------
