Album Notes

Texas native, Caryl Parker, or Caryl Mack Parker, as some may better know her, is a recording artist, songwriter, session vocalist, and worship leader in Nashville, TN. She came to Nashville in 1994, and in 1996 released her self-titled debut album, “Caryl Mack Parker” on independent country label, Magnatone Records. The following year, Magnatone closed its doors, and Caryl continued working as a songwriter and performer in Nashville. With musical roots ranging from folk to gospel to rock & roll, her rich, soulful voice would carry her beyond the boundaries of country music.

In 2000, Caryl stepped out in obedience to what she refers to as “an undeniable call of God” and began leading worship, discovering both personal fulfillment and newly found ministry. Caryl has a deep passion for music, worship and family. Among her major musical influences, she lists classic singers such as Linda Ronstadt, Karla Bonoff, Karen Carpenter, Trisha Yearwood, Bonnie Raitt and Carole King.

She is currently a worship leader at Belmont Church in Nashville, TN where she lives with husband, Scott, and their two children , Jessie and Noah.
