A native of North Central Texas, Cary Richmond's passion for music and performing has roots that stem from his love of gospel and contemporary Christian music. This foundation has enabled him to develop vocal abilities that transcend musical styles. Whether it's country, pop, rock, gospel, or one of the classic standards, Cary delivers any song with a unique passion and edge that defines his soulful style. In addition to country music influences like Vince Gill, Collin Raye, George Strait and Ray Price, he has a diverse range of other musical influences from other generations such as, Andy Williams, B. J. Thomas, Roy Orbison and Paul McCartney.

He has performed in numerous venues since he was ten years old. His performances consist of regional "Opry" shows (including the award-winning Johnnie High Country Music Revue - home of LeAnn Rimes and many others), restaurants, clubs, civic and fundraising events, corporate events, school musicals and churches.

Cary has the ability to take any song and color it with his own sound and style. During every performance, he completely owns the stage. Every audience feels an immediate bond as if they've known him for years.
Cary has had the opportunity to open for The Tonight Show's Jay Leno at a private event in Las Vegas and opened for Kenny Rogers in June 2002 at an event in New Orleans.

"My main goal when I perform is to move the audience. When your song can stir their emotions, there is a connection. I just have fun on stage and want my audiences to have a great time as well and leave knowing they've been entertained."

His debut CD entitled First was first released in April 2002 with a re-release in 2005. Many of his songs are currently being played at country radio stations nationwide as well as in Belgium, Sweden, Holland and Germany!

Cary resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Cary has the potential and drive to take his progressive country sound and position himself as one of the rising new country artists of the 21st century.
