Album Notes

This release breaks a five year recording hiatus for Cash Nexus and features some of his most personal and irreverent work to date. Recorded in November 2004 as a project for Douglas Wolk's National Solo Album Month (NaSoAlMo), "Melonballer" contains several politically-charged songs, some spooky and creepy numbers, a few silly ones, a couple of rockers, and a very pretty song called "Rose Petals" that is as sentimental and confusing as the love it describes. This album is both humorous and scary, like the government. Or a carnival. The creation of this album is archived on The Cash Nexus website (blog). The Cash Nexus Family Tree, with way too much information and current to 1997, is located on the internet at http://www.wckrspgt.com/nexus-tree/index.html.
