SING ALONG! is the 4th album by Seattle kids entertainer Caspar Babypants. Caspar is also known as Chris Ballew from the rock and roll band the Presidents of the United States of America. The album spans from high energy up tempo tunes to mellow lullaby songs over the course of 20 tracks and 46 minutes. Guests on the CD include "Weird" Al Yancovic, Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam, singer songwriter Pete Droge and kids singer and songwriter Frances England. There is a call and response theme running throughout the record which encourages kids and parents to SING ALONG and join in on the fun. Themes include guitar slinging spiders (Spider John), naughty blue jays (Bad Blue Jay), a wild party of animals (Wild Wild Time) and a flea who owns hundreds of dogs (My Flea Has Dogs)! Musically Caspar continues to draw from an old school folk and roots tradition and updates classics like Ba Ba Black Sheep, Ring Around The Rosie and Pussy cat Pussycat. The artwork is once again brilliantly created by his wife the local artist and illustrator Kate Endle. Clear simple lyrics and intricate but simple music will keep you listening again and again.
