ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Hidden is Castalia’s second pagan Album and is the favourite of many pagan listeners. Old song like Silver Wheel, Circles, and I Will Meet you there, plus many new creations responding to the current pagan world, and we, as a pagan community and nation grow and change. Acoustic guitar songs feature a good rhythm section and strong bass guitar, and the harp songs are sweet and soulful. Friends of Castalia often donate lyrics and those that move her to create music are included in this, and her other pagan albums. Castalia believes that pagan culture needs musical expression, and is one of the many artists emerging on the international scene.
Castalia is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and singer who tours America and Canada playing for pagans at festivals, shops, Unitarian events and even large living rooms. She began her formal music career in 1979, and discovered paganism at about the same time. The two passions eventually brought her to the recording studio to record a regular folk album and then Sacred Space. After an eight year hiatus, she re-released Sacred Space with more songs and a new title, and stepped up her concert schedule. Two years later, Hidden was born.
