ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Prolific multi-instrumentalist Canadian composer, Castalia has dedicated her life to reclaiming the music, art, literature and scholarship of our folkloric past, from India, Asia, Germany and Western Europe. Pagan, Druid, Witch, Volva, giving heart and mind to soul of the pagan past, present and future. The Celtic harp is strongly featured, but the sound of woodwinds, strings, and a powerful rhythm and bass performance make this album worth listening to again and again to pick up on the subtle sounds of these melodies and countermelodies that celebrate the wheels and spirals of the year.
