Album Notes

Cast of Thousands is a San Francisco-based post-hardcore/indie rock trio staying true to its name. Following the departure of their former bassist (version 4.0 of the band), singer/guitarist Burt Hashiguchi and drummer Derrick Hostetter recruited Jennifer Yee, formerly of Bay Area alt-rockers, Enda, to make the trio whole again. Yee’s vocals introduced a harmonic element to the band’s combination of melody, hooks, volume, and intensity.

Since the new trio’s formation, Cast of Thousands has opened for popular national acts such as Smoking Popes and The City On Film and performed at esteemed Bay Area venues including San Francisco ’s Great American Music Hall, Slim's, Red Devil Lounge, and The Bottom Of The Hill. Cast of Thousands’ song “Wicked Smile” from their upcoming album This Is Where I Confess was featured on Bay Area modern rock radio station Live 105’s Local Lounge program.
