Album Notes

Caterwauler is a French musician who likes to make music by herself. She\'s been writing songs for many years, playing a few gigs and collaborating with several bands and solo artists. \"The Battle For The Return Of Mirth And Goodness\" is a very personal album. It was recorded during a time of questioning, and the mood of the songs is often sad and angry. Caterwauler makes her CDs on home studio. This means that when you listen to her songs, you shouldn\'t expect standard sounds and that you should really listen to her music as a personal, even intimate world she wants to share. What is commonly said about her music is that it consists in many layers of voices and guitars ( she uses samplers for live performances to recreate these layers live ) and that it\'s often ethereal and spiritual. With her improvised and experimental music she was lately dragged into movie music. She also loves collaborations, and is always open to new projects.
