Album Notes

Dreamy, witty, spontaneous lyrics by Conlin over (and in collaboration with) Baranov's masterful guitars, synths and loops. Add bass and drum tracks by Geo Kitta and Kenn LeGault (Baranov engineered KGK Project), and sultry, music deep with content inspired by things like a beautiful abandoned church in her SoMA neighborhood (San Francisco) overgrown gardens, weeds, sea urchins, anemone, as well as spies and their compensation.

"I really can't tell you the truth because I don't know the truth, I swallowed the truth before you trapped me here in the corner." ... "Mr. Secret-Agent-Man don't make me tell you what you don't want to know. I put your number on a piece of paper, you can't get it from me. I swallowed it...I get paid for this!"

This is Conlin's second CD with another being produced in be released in January, 2010. Konstantine Baranov has 11 solo cd's to his credit as well as numerous other live and studio projects http:// www.kbaranov.com.

Producer Richard Michos says, "haunting dream poetry reminiscent of Laurie Anderson's best work...Baranov's guitars swirl, soar, bubble and caress an intoxicating framework for each composition."

Myles Boisen of Guerilla Recording says, "the ambient vocal settings of Portishead et. al....Conlin's smart-yet-vulnerable vocal delivery ranges from innocent to wicked, often sounding like surreal samples pulled from some obscure European movie. "
