Album Notes

This has been an CD in the works for along time but I just needed the courage to come out and introduce it to the universe...Originally intended for family and friends it has now become a "PLAY IT FORWARD", as now family and friends are passing it on to others.
I have written of my journeys though out my life in poetry and prose with this CD being a new way of sharing in a musical form. It has been rewarding to receive all the positive responses in and out of country. I'm very grateful to so many for encouraging me to share my music. Reviewers call my music honest and uplifting lyric driven songs that are hauntingly autobiographical which is true.
I choose to name this album Yesteryears not only because it is in the first song, but all the songs cover many years of life phases that I gone through. The best thing of all is that you can have a dream, maybe put it off for a while, but then just do it. I'm enjoying the ride.

I honestly think this is one of the best new albums I have heard in a long time. I love Celtic music, and the music on this CD is absolutely beautiful. I had this CD given to me by a friend, and I figured that I would listen to a track or two and then toss it in the trash. Instead, I played it about 6 times in a row, and enjoyed it as much each time. Give this a try - you will not be disappointed. I hope she puts out another soon. What makes the album even more interesting is the fact that Cathie wrote and produced all of the songs. She has tremendous talent, and I hope she gets her 15 minutes of fame, because if so, she will become an overnite hit and will undoubtedly be on tour.

AMERICAN CELTIC MUSIC IN ITS PUREST FORM. SOOTHING AND FOR ONCE I CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND THE WORDS AND POETRY OF THE MUSIC. THIS MUSIC IN ITS HONEST SYMPLICITY DEPICTS NOT WHERE WE HAVE BEEN BUT WHERE WE SHOULD BE GOING TO FIND PEACE OF MIND AND SOUL. BLESS YOU CATHIE FOR AN ASTOUNDING ACHEVEMENT.

Music with thick layers of feeling and emotion. Captivating through out the entire album. It is relaxing and laidback, happy and joyful. It's not easy to pick a favorite track from this album, but if I had to pick a track it must be "Series of Dreams", BEAUTIFUL! Wonderful and honest music that I have no problems recommending to all you readers.
