From 2001 to 2007 The Cathouse Blues Band evolved from a four-piece guitar, vocals and drums blues band to an eleven-piece R&B show band featuring the tight-as-tics rhythm section, plus horns, keyboards and congas, and boasting no less than five vocalists. This CD captured the band’s final live performance, and in true Cathouse Blues Band style, band leader Kurt Aemmer put together a show that started out very high energy, and kept coming at the audience with rapid-fire blues, jazz and funk surprises.
