Album Notes

The Cat House Dogs play grass roots rock n’ roll delivered with a spontaneous punch that has gained them a reputation as one of Canada’s must-see live acts. Based in Toronto, the group has been playing music and touring together for over 10 years.

They have two full-length albums to their credit, “Bark” (2005), and “That Was Now” (2008). Both were self-funded independent productions that have received critical acclaim. In a recently aired documentary about the band, Michael McCarty, president of EMI was given the opportunity to preview the new album. His response was overwhelmingly positive saying “When you hear good music it’s exciting, and that music is good.”

"That Was Now" is a very likable creation. It is a collection of great sounding songs each with a different character. One bite at a time there's something for everybody. It's more of a sonic buffet; beginning with the namesake first track "Fine Line".
