The show "Stayin' Well" came from our own true life experiences dealing with rotten home health care, bad hosptial experiences, careless doctors and lousy nurses aides. (Thank God we have since run into some GREAT Doctors and WONDERFUL Hospitals like Mercy Hospital in Miami...!!!) In short, it's quite timely for what is happening in the good ol' USA. The songs are delightful and they are hysterically funny with some very beautiful songs included, including the heartfelt "Angel in I.C.U" and the touching "The Love In His Eyes" based on a real-life Miracle!!!! You will enjoy it a lot.
The very gifted and talented RICK KRIVE sings most of the songs and also did most of the music sequencing.
All the songs are written by Cathy Ellis (BMI), who also wrote "Abraham & Sarah" and "Fernando & Me" among others.
Some of the songs were co-written by Cathy's beautiful Mom, Esther, including "Grandma's Medicine Chest", in which
Mom went through her plethora of medicines from way back when, I mean, how many remember "Hills Cold Tablets" or
"Slippery Elm"??? Mom sure did! Way to go Mom!
