Album Notes

Cathy's playing epitomizes the sheer joy of music and she possesses the creativity and technical ability to capture every emotion and musical idea on her guitar.

Cathy never fails to excite and wow her audiences whether she is on stage or doing a radio show.

Besides her magnificent playing, and captivating songs, her relaxed style and friendly personality seem to always revoke a huge response from her audience.

Pick any style, technique or unorthodox tuning on the guitar and you can be pretty sure that she's been there.

She performs with authority and style whether she is drawing from one of many diverse genres or playing her own stunning compositions.

Although her art is primarily rooted in instrumental compositions, Cathy is also a compelling singer and songwriter.

Cathy's new CD, "they don't bite", is storming the Internet with a large and growing number of loyal fans, whether they be folk, jazz or rock listeners.

DJs, industry professionals, music critics and accomplished musicians agree that her music is new, exciting and makes for absolutely great listening.

Every song is a great musical journey. SOme songs lead you down one path and then change directions, then change back again. It is very musically inspiring. JUST BUY IT!

Great finger style playing with mature composition and well recorded.

This CD is surprisingly well recorded. The finger style compositions are intelligent and musically sophisticated. However, the two songs sung by Cathy Horner belong on a different album. These two efforts remind me of Gentle Giant compositions(who I loved)but they seem out of place and are not Cathy Horner's strongest suit.
