Album Notes

The Cat's Pajamas second album, Goin' Bananas, was the recipient of the Children's Music Web Award, Best New Album for Children, 2002. Janet and Debbie's signature harmonies and humor but with the more sophisticated sound of The Cat's Pajamas band on electric guitar, bass and drums as well as some of Philly's best sidemen on trumpet, trombone, saxophone and keyboards. Their recording of Locomotion was selected for XM Satellite Radio and the album is played on radio shows for children from Alaska to Pennsylvania.

The Cat's Pajamas bring dynamic vocals and richly textured instrumentation to a repertoire that runs the gamut from latin and swing to folk, motown and rock 'n roll.
