Based in Vancouver, Canada, Cat Toren is beginning to make a name for herself internationally as composer, bandleader and a talented new voice on the piano. Joining her in the \"Cat Toren Band\" is drummer Daniel Gaucher and bassist Russell Sholberg. These three musicians create quite a dynamic; from gentle, passionate ballads to angular, dissonant improvizations. Their debut CD includes 8 original compositions.
