Album Notes

Originally from rural Michigan, Tom Caufield's songs have been included in many television programs. He began his career as a member of Ohio's fabled Raisin Band (who went on to become Psychodots, and Adrien Belew's Bears), and began a solo career after exiting the group. In 1987, Tom was signed to Paradox/PolyGram and a debut album "Long Distance Calling" was released nationally. Since then, Tom has continued to record and perform, as well as releasing a handful of albums. He has scored two feature films, and a documentary for The Discovery Channel. Tom has lived and worked in New York City and Nashville, and now makes Los Angeles his home. His studio, 'The Bohemian Embassy,' is located in Brentwood, Califorinia. 'The Times Are Never So Bad' his 2009 release, comes in two editions, the original release and an expanded edition, which includes six additional tracks. Tom also performs as half of the male-female harmony duo 'CAUFIELD,' which has released 3 albums to date.
