PUT ON YOUR HEADPHONES is the debut record from Caution Cat released in September of 2006.It has had 5 of its 11 songs placed on various TV shows & DVD releases.See below for details. *****UPDATE 2009***** Caution Cat has placed 2 songs from "between songs EXTRA" in the CBS show THE MENTALIST (episode #119 "A Dozen Red Roses" aired 4-7-09) and the soon to be released DVD of the WB/Fox show "EVERWOOD" *****BIO STUFF***** Caution Cat is a musical project featuring friends & family based in Richmond,VA.Created by songwriter and musician VJ Jones in the summer of 2006.The band started as a solo project but now has two more members.Karen Shealy writes,sings,plays bass,slide guitar,brass instruments,bongos,etc.Chris Williams plays acoustic drums,electronic drums,loops & percussion,song arranging,etc.Future records may include a rotating collection of friends & fellow music lovers.The band utilizes instruments ranging from the ukulele to the sampler to the spike fiddle to the trumpet to create original pop music. *****MEDIA***** Caution Cat has placed 20 songs in various TV show & DVD releases including THE MENTALIST on the CBS network, EVERWOOD on the WB network,NBC shows include LIFE (season one now on DVD & season two DVD due 2009) FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (season two now on DVD) & THE BLACK DONNELLYS (season one now on DVD)
