. The masterful music arrangements by the late George(G-Money)Culmer combined with the skillful solo sax of Lenny(Duke)Curry provides a varied, unique and lasting listening experience. Like magic, each of the once simple melodies by Charles L. Bierman have been transformed into a musical masterpiece with its own flavor and character. Don't be surprised if you find yourself listening to the same selection over and over again before moving on to the next. This first album is one of seven completed works of the Rocket Dogg Collection under the group name Charley B and the MelodicTones. . "Lavender in Blue" is a romantic melody combining soft jazz/blues accented by a melodious solo sax.
The high-spirited tune of "Serendipity March" would make any high school band proud. "Nice 'N Easy" is just smooth and relaxing. "Celebrate" puts one in a festive mood.
"Catou #1" is named for a feline with style and grace.
"Lillian Rhapsody" is accented by a smooth solo sax and
a sweet arrangement. Lastly, the patriotic/inspirational
"Majesty Grace"; a musical tribute to America.
